The Client

QuantHouse, part of Iress Group, is a provider of market data and trading solutions.

Its high-performance, low-latency API data feeds and trading infrastructure  helps hedge funds, investment banks, brokers, market makers, financial technology providers and trading venues improve their trading performance

Via its QuantFEED and ConsolidatedFEED market data APIs, QuantHouse provides clients with more than 240 normalised market data feeds from more than 80 sources, integrated by over 50 fintech partners.

In addition, QuantHouse provides analytics services, end-of-day pricing data, reference data, historical data on-demand and historical binary feeds.  It also offers trading infrastructure, including proximity hosting, order routing services and raw data feeds to its global client base.

The Challenge

The QuantHouse leadership has turned to Streets Consulting multiple times between 2017 and 2024, at different stages in their corporate journey. Most recently, QuantHouse approached us to support their business development drive at TradeTech Paris in April 2024.

The brief (and challenge) was to maximise visibility at TradeTech, communicate key milestones to media and industry stakeholders and maximise the value the company could derive from its attendance at the event.

QuantHouse needed a partner who could devise and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy to raise QuantHouse’s profile in key markets, before, during and after the event.

The Campaign

Following a detailed briefing session to understand QuantHouse’s objectives for the event, its key target audiences and communications opportunities, we created and refined a detailed, strategic campaign plan based on a combination of press releases, social media and video content to help achieve QuantHouse’s goals.

To kick the campaign off, we worked with QuantHouse and their partner BMLL to publicise a strategic partnership ahead of TradeTech, ensuring maximum coverage before the sales teams arrived at the conference. The second announcement centred on the appointment of Rob Kirby as EMEA Head of Sales & Business Development, who would attend the event as the business development lead for QuantHouse.

During the event, we secured several interviews, reconnecting executives with key journalists and editors, following a strategic rebrand to reintroduce QuantHouse to the market before the conference.

We produced a video interview at the QuantHouse stand, scripting and editing all content to final approval and coaching executives on delivering a compelling narrative with confidence. The video interviews with Rob Kirby, Head of Sales, are available here and here.

Finally, we developed an editorial schedule of social media posts to be issued before, during and after the event, to maintain momentum beyond TradeTech.

The Results

Our strategy to maximise visibility before, during and after the event and support the QuantHouse business development and sales efforts brought the desired results.

Within a short time, we secured coverage in key publications such as The Trade, Global Trading, Asset Servicing Times, Markets Media and Best Execution.

We created all visual assets that accompanied the social media campaign before, during and after the event and significantly increased engagement on LinkedIn. And the video interview we produced was shared across all relevant social media channels.

The feedback from QuantHouse’s business development team was extremely positive; the campaign had more than delivered against QuantHouse’s aspirations, sparking many new business and partnership conversations and universally positive feedback from QuantHouse’s wider contact base.
